Dosage 

On the other hand, excessive amounts of this substance may damage your kidneys and cause kidney stones. 

The adequate curcumin should be 500 mg twice daily for overall health benefits. 

Ashwagandha Root

Ashwagandha root extract is widely used for its various health benefits. It is also known as the Rasayanam Ashwagandha KSM-66. It lowers stress and anxiety and boosts the immune system.

It can enhance endurance, physical recovery, and cognitive function and help with menopausal symptoms, in addition to enhancing sexual performance. In addition to this, the ashwagandha root helps increase cognitive capabilities and improve physical performance when taken regularly.

Valerian Root

It has been used medicinally since the days of ancient Greece and Rome. Valerian root was traditionally used to treat sleeplessness, migraines, lethargy, and stomach cramps.

Today, valerian is recommended for insomnia, anxiety, depression, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menopausal symptoms, and headaches.

Dosage-  According to research, most adults can consume valerian root for a short period without harm. It has been used with apparent safety in investigations spanning up to 28 days. 

Things to keep in mind before taking Valerian root

The safety of valerian for long-term usage is uncertain. There is not much research done about the safety of taking valerian root during pregnancy or breastfeeding. So, it’s safe that pregnant and breastfeeding women should not consume without proper consultation with their doctor. If taken in high quantity, it can cause headaches, stomach discomfort, mental dullness, excitability, restlessness, cardiac abnormalities, and, in some instances, sleeplessness. 

A few people experience drowsiness in the morning after taking valerian, particularly at higher dosages. Some people have dry mouths and vivid nightmares.

Valerian root should not be used with alcohol or any sedatives.

Plant Based vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is generally found in animal products; hence, few plant-based alternatives exist. On the other hand, certain fortified food items and supplements are specifically developed for vegans.
